Sharon Rundberg

With more than 20 years’ experience in advertising and communications, Sharon has worked in human resources for major multinational companies and brings to Dorland a powerful blend of strategic, financial, and leadership skills. Based in the San Francisco office, Sharon spends a significant amount of time in our Philadelphia headquarters. This enables her to get to know everyone on the staff and to bring a uniquely personal touch to the management of our internal resources.

Sharon’s responsibilities range from overseeing the day-to-day functions of each office to organizational design, employee development and mentoring, benefit management, and recruitment. She sees the big picture of our business challenges and clients’ needs and uses the “people perspective” to help us achieve our goals. In addition, Sharon ensures that the unique Dorland culture is carried forward as we grow—and that the company not only has the right people, but that each person has the tools and training needed to excel.

Sharon is active in several HR and advertising organizations in San Francisco and New York and serves on HR committees for the AAAA and PR Council; she also is the 2007 president-elect of the Healthcare Businesswoman’s Association. Sharon received her BA in business administration from San Francisco State University.
