Michael J. Beckerich has successfully built and led both corporate and agency teams to promote disease and product awareness, to build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders for products and companies, to manage issues, and to drive sales with target audiences. His bicoastal Dorland Global responsibilities, including the establishment and oversight of Dorland Global’s New York office and the management of its San Francisco office, leverage his proven leadership capabilities.

Michael’s experience ranges from biopharma to OTC and lifestyle/ fitness products. He has worked on a wide range of therapeutic categories, including women’s health, oncology, nephrology, cardiology, inflammation, CNS, diabetes, and diet and nutrition.

Most recently, Michael was a director of communications with Johnson & Johnson, overseeing public relations activities for McNeil Consumer Healthcare, J&J/Merck, McNeil Nutritionals, and Ortho Women’s Health. Before that, he led global product communications at Amgen in California for five years, and managed product communications at Warner-Lambert (now Pfizer). The move to Dorland Global is not Michael’s first experience on the agency side. He brings a wealth of knowledge honed from previous positions at leading agencies, including Brodeur Porter Novelli, The Rowland Company, and The MMW Group.

A firm believer in the importance of seamless communication with clients, Michael views client/agency interactions as key to achieving expected results. Those results for his clients are achieved through a 360-degree approach to PR that incorporates events, online communications, patient education, and word-of-mouth marketing with strong media relations programs.

Michael received a BA in political science from Villanova University.
