Dr. Michael Barnett brings a unique set of skills to Dorland Global. His ability to clearly communicate complex scientific issues and his keen understanding of the market help him advise clients on product positioning that is supported by sound medical facts. Michael has worked with major pharmaceutical firms, providing medical direction for product launches, evaluating the design of clinical trials, and writing comprehensive summaries for pharmaceutical executives.
As Medical Director, Michael is responsible for the overall medical content for all Dorland Global projects. Michael's areas of expertise include endocrinology, infectious disease, neurology, immunology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, pulmonary medicine, and various surgical specialties, as well as emerging therapeutics and technologies. He also has an extensive background in global and strategic non-CME medical education initiatives; product development from clinical trials to brand launch.
Michael received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania and his PhD from Oxford University. He is completing an MBA at Villanova University.
